Nepal’s leading commercial bank, Nabil Bank and Upaya Services (Upaya) have collaborated to support MSMEs by providing various services available in Upaya Platform as required by the clients of
the Bank. Under this strategic partnership, the bank engages Upaya to prepare the preliminary documents required for loan processing to its clients, particularly MSMEs based loan customers. Further, Upaya provides easy and transparent solutions regarding public services by providing linkage with the professional with Upaya who are on-the-field experts having adequate knowledge of the subject matter to the bank clients. Mr. Niraj Kumar Basnet , Head-SME & MF, Nabil Bank and Mr. Raju K.C., General Manager, Upaya signed the agreement.
Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Basnet said, “Nabil Bank has always been a pioneer in venturing various facilities/services to the MSMEs of the country to increase the access to finance along with the development of the overall economy. We are helping our MSME clients to follow the proper bookkeeping practices and comply with the law/regulation of the country for growth of the customers as well as the bank.
