Minister Karki instructs to work in a way people can directly feel

KATHMANDU
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has directed subordinate bodies to work in a manner where the public would directly feel the presence of the government. He directed for the same at the third quarterly progress review meeting of the Ministry and ministerial development problems resolution committee in the Ministry today. Stating that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoCIT) is directly concerned with the people, Karki appealed with the subordinate agencies to work in a result-oriented manner.

Asking the meetings’ attendees if they were satisfied with the review of quarterly progress, the Minister admitted that he was not satisfied with the review. He instructed the Nepal Telecommunications Authority to address the network related problem at the earliest.

He pledged to include the agendas in the upcoming fiscal year’s policy and programme, and budget, stating that we should work at a fast pace to meet the expectation of the public for development and prosperity.
