‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’ announce new date for Kathmandu audition

KATHMANDU

Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America has postponed Kathmandu auditions of ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’ for March 18 and 19. Previously these auditions were scheduled to be held on March 11 and 12. Organizers informed that the auditions were postponed due to some technical issues.

Amid audition, contestants must have an official document revealing their age in order participate in audition. Contestants selected from the field audition will come to Kathmandu and participate in the studio audition. Also, those who want to participate from abroad can register by downloading the My Intra app. The contestants who have participated in the digital audition will also have to compulsorily participate in the field audition. Contestants of these shows must be 18 years or above.

Apart from that, those who want to participate in the cultural group category of ‘Mero Dance Universe’ should also attend the field audition.  These two shows are the first ever international Nepali singing and dancing reality shows, with the highest cash prize ever distributed in Nepali television reality show.

According to the foundation, the winner of ‘Mero Voice Universe’ will get a prize of RS one crore.  Similarly, first runner-up and second runner-up will get Rs 30 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively. Likewise, winner of ‘Mero Dance Universe’ will also get a prize of RS one crore, while the first runner-up and the second runner-up will get Rs 30 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively. Meanwhile, winner of Dance Universe’s cultural group category will get a prize of 20 lakh rupees. whereas first runner-up and second runner-up will get Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively.

Besides Nepal, the foundation aims to allure massive participation from several countries with Nepali speaking communities including Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Australia, United States, and Canada.
