Shree and Fistel Airlines banned from flying !

Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has imposed a ban on all flights operated by Shree Air and Fishtail Air helicopters. This comes after serious negligence in aviation safety was found in both airlines. According to sources, the helicopters of both airlines have been flying without adhering to the Visual Flight Rules (VFR) at the Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla.

The authority has also found that both helicopters have been flying even when the weather conditions were not suitable. It has been reported that both helicopters have been flying at an altitude of 1500 meters and a distance of 5 kilometers even when the visibility was poor, which is considered a serious violation of aviation safety.

As a result, the authority has imposed a ban on the AS-350 series of Fishtail Air and one helicopter of Shree Air.
