Buddha Air celebrates 26 years of excellence and plans to add new ATR aircraft within this month

KATHMANDU

Buddha Air, the air service provider, has completed 26 years and entered its 27th year. The company has informed us that it has served over two million domestic and international travelers in its 26 years of operation.

Currently, Buddha Air is operating three ATR-42 and 13 ATR-72 aircraft, and another ATR aircraft will be added within this month, making the total number of the company’s aircraft reach 17. Buddha Air’s Executive Chairman, Birendra Bahadur Basnet, has stated that the company has been continuously enhancing its capacity according to the national and international regulatory authorities’ requirements to make its flight services more effective.

For the maintenance of the aircraft, Buddha Air has a modern hangar, which is one of the best in Southeast Asia, where both domestic and international companies also avail their services. Buddha Air has increased the number of flights to various destinations with the slogan “Your Time, Our Flight.”

The company is currently operating 17 daily flights to Pokhara, 9 to Bharatpur, and 10 to Bhairahawa. Additionally, the company has announced plans to increase the number of flights to Surkhet, Tumlingtar, and Dhangadhi as well.
