Nepal Stock Exchange Introduces Chatbot Service to Enhance Investor Support and Financial Literacy

KATHMANDU

The Nepal Stock Exchange Board has started the chatbot service. The board has announced the start of the chatbot service on its website to hear the complaints of investors.

The board has informed us that the start of the chatbot service has been done by organizing a program in Kathmandu on Monday on the occasion of ‘World Investor Week 2023’. “Now, investors can keep their complaints and queries through the chatbot,” said Ramesh Kumar Hamal, Chairman of the Board. “We are eager to listen to the complaints and queries received through this and provide a quick resolution.”

Chairman Hamal had recently stated that financial literacy is very low in Nepal. “In such a situation, the chatbot service introduced by the Stock Exchange Board can play a role in increasing financial literacy to some extent,” he said.

Similarly, in the same program, Chairman Hamal of the Stock Exchange Board was informed about the implementation of financial literacy programs in 36 districts in collaboration with the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
