Sagarmatha Hydropower’s profit increased by 15.21 percent

KATHMANDU

Sagarmatha Hydropower Company has made public the financial details of the first quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the unaudited financial report made public by the company, the company’s net profit has increased by 15.21 percent compared to the previous year.

The hydropower company earned a net profit of 54 million 42 lakh rupees in the first quarter, while it had earned a net profit of 47 million rupees in the same period last year. Similarly, the company’s revenue from electricity sales has also increased. Revenue from electricity sales has increased by 4.25 percent to reach 107.7 million rupees.

Likewise, the company’s operating profit has also increased from 92 million rupees to 105 million rupees. With the increase in revenue from electricity sales and operating profit, the net profit has also increased. In addition, the company has retained earnings of 118 million rupees.

The company has earnings per share of Rs 19.96 and a net worth per share of Rs 109.98.
