Citizens Bank contributes 25 lakhs to earthquake victims

KATHMANDU

Citizens Bank has done commendable work in the field of Nepali banking. Bank  announce to distribute 25 lakhs to earthquake victims.

Since the incident of misusing CSR funds to distribute chocolates to employees came to light, the bank has faced criticism from all sides. However, the bank has contributed 25 lakh rupees to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief and Rescue Fund for the rehabilitation and relief of earthquake victims.

Previously, the bank had misused a maximum of 15 lakh rupees by distributing chocolates to employees.

Although the bank has now improved, it still spends money on social responsibilities such as organizing health camps, community schools, elderly homes, and orphanages.
