KATHMANDU
Two people have been arrested for stealing five lakh and fifty-one thousand eight hundred and eighteen rupees from the Chandni Agriculture Cooperative in Dhodhara Chandni Municipality-2, Kanchanpur.
According to the Dodhara Police Office, the 26-year-old Amrit Sarki from Jayaprithvi Municipality-1, Bajhang and 23-year-old Sundar Tamata from Aairi Municipality-12, Bhimdatta Rural Municipality have been arrested.
They stole the amount along with two lakhs in cash, three thousand eight hundred and eighty rupees, and three mobile phones. Further investigation is being carried out by the local police office.
