The general meeting of Nepal Insurance Company is scheduled to take place. The meeting has been decided by the meeting of the executive committee held on Tuesday to hold the general meeting on the 13th of Poush. The meeting will be held at the Nepal Pragya Foundation, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, starting at 11 a.m.

The proposal to distribute 10.25 percent of the total profit as 10 percent bonus shares and 0.52 percent cash for tax purposes will also be presented at the meeting. Similarly, there will also be discussions on the annual financial report for the fiscal year 2079–80, profit and loss, and cash flow.

The agenda also includes the appointment of auditors for the fiscal year 2080–81 and the determination of their remuneration. The company has also decided to close the book on the 28th of Mangsir for the purpose of the meeting. Therefore, only the shareholders holding shares until the 27th of Mangsir will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive the proposed dividends.
