Nabil Bank is issuing a 30 lakh unit debenture

KATHMANDU

Nabil Bank Limited is issuing debentures. The bank will be issuing 30 lakh units of debentures at the rate of Rs 1,000 per unit from Mangsir 29. The bank has started issuing ‘9% Nabil Debenture 2087’ for a period of 7 years. Out of the 30 lakh units, the bank will first sell 18 lakh units to other organizations, while the remaining 12 lakh units will be open to the public. In the public offering, 5% or 60,000 units of debentures will be set aside for collective investment funds.

The bank will offer 9% interest on these debentures. Kumari Capital will manage the sales of these debentures. Applications for these debentures can be submitted until Poush 3. If all the debentures are not sold within this period, the bank has stated that the application deadline will be extended until Poush 13.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 12 lakh units. C-ASWA members, banks, financial institutions, and My Share Software can apply online for these debentures.
