Last chance to secure dividends: Six companies set to close books today

KATHMANDU

Today is the last day to secure the dividends of six companies, including Chhimek Laghubitta, Garima Bikas Bank, Lumbini Bikas Bank, Vindhya Vasini Hydropower, Super Madi Hydropower, and Ruru Jalvidhyut Project. These six companies will close their books today (Tuesday). Only the shareholders as of today will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the meeting.

Chhimek Laghubitta will distribute 15% dividends, including a 5% bonus share and 10% cash dividends from the profits of the last fiscal year. The proposal to distribute these dividends will be approved at the annual general meeting scheduled for February 29. Similarly, Garima Bikas Bank will distribute 9.5% bonus shares and 0.5% cash dividends to investors from the profits of the last year. The bank has scheduled its annual general meeting for February 29 to approve the dividends.

Likewise, Lumbini Bikas Bank will distribute 8.5% dividends, including a 4% bonus share and 4.5% cash dividends from the profits of the last fiscal year. The proposal to distribute these dividends will be approved at the annual general meeting scheduled for February 26.

Vindhyavasini Hydropower has announced plans to distribute a 5.26 percent cash dividend from last year’s profit. The company has called for its annual general meeting on February 26 to approve the distribution of the said profit. Similarly, Super Madi Hydropower has announced that it will distribute a 2 percent cash dividend (excluding tax) to investors from last year’s profit. The hydropower company has also called for its annual general meeting on February 28 to approve the proposal.

Likewise, Ruru Hydropower Project has announced to distribute a 10.526 percent cash dividend from last year’s profit. The company has called for its annual general meeting on February 25 to approve the distribution of the said cash dividend.
