Gold Prices Reach New Heights, Set Record High with Rs 1700 Surge in a Single Day

KATHMANDU

The business of gold has established a new record by increasing the price of gold even higher on Friday, the sixth day of the week. Compared to the previous day’s business, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1700 per tola today.

Gold was trading at Rs 1,40,500 per tola the previous day, and today it is trading at Rs 1,42,200 per tola. Similarly, the price of tejabi gold has increased to Rs 1,41,500 per tola, up by Rs 1700 per tola from Rs 1,39,800.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 25 to Rs 1,875 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 1,21,915, the price of 10 grams of tejabi gold is Rs 1,21,315, and the price of 10 grams of silver is Rs 1,607.50.

Gold traders believe that the price of gold can still go higher. They say that the impact of the increase in the international market price of gold has also been seen in Nepal.
