Garima Bikas Bank’s Profit Increases by 12%

Kathmandu. Garima Bikas Bank’s net profit has increased significantly. According to the report, the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 22.57 crore in the first quarter of the current FY. This is 12 percent higher than the same period last year.

The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 20.15 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Likewise, the bank’s net interest income and operating profit have also increased during the review period. The bank’s net interest income increased by 11.08 percent and operating profit by 12.01 percent.

Garima’s impairment charge has increased from Rs 35 crore to Rs 37 crore. Its bad loans have increased to 3.82 percent. Last year, the NPA was 2.68 percent.

The bank’s earnings per share increased by Rs 1.71 to Rs 15.90 and net worth per share increased to Rs 162.07.
