Kathmandu. Police have concluded that theallegations levelled by Durga Prasai against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli are false. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), which started the investigation after the arrest of Prasai on Tuesday (CIB), has concluded that the allegations levelled by Prasain against Prime Minister Oli through social media are false. 

Similarly, the police have also recorded documents presented by Prasain as evidence. 

Prasain has been arrested on the charge of spreading rumours through social media. A senior CIB official said, “Preliminary investigation shows that Prasain’s allegations to the Prime Minister are false . We have also concluded that the documents were falsified. Further investigation is underway. ’ 

According to the police, PM Oli has investments in Cam bodia-based Smart Axiata Telecom Company and Prasain’s name and signature do not match in the documents made public by Prasain. 

In the document made public by Prasain, the Prime Minister’s name is mentioned as in English.However, in the Prime Minister’s citizenship certificate, Oli’s name is KP Sharma (Oli). According to the police, this will also prove that the details made public by Prasain are fake. However, a senior CIB official said that further investigation is underway in the case.
