Kathmandu. Police have arrested the employees of Siddhartha Bank. The bank has taken control of the bank’s branch manager Aran Balmaki and loan officer of Janakpur branch of the bank.

Following a dispute with the borrower, police have taken the branch manager and loan officer of the bank’s Janakpur branch under control.

“After the bank auctioned the land, the borrowers reached the bank. We got the news after the borrower started creating a ruckus in the bank due to a dispute between the bank and the borrower’s side. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Police Inspector and Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, said, “We have taken the bank employees under control for their safety.” ’

An employee of the bank also said that the bank has taken the branch manager and loan officer under control after the borrower’s side suddenly came and surrounded the bank and vandalized the bank and manhandled the staff.

On the other hand, the borrower has said that the branch manager was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged with the police after the branch manager auctioned 8 dhur land without their knowledge. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
