3 office-bearers, including TU vice-chancellor, resign fearing dismissal

Kathmandu. Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal has resigned. Vice-chancellor Aryal has sent his resignation letter to the Office of the Prime Minister. 

Tribhuvan University Rector Prof. Dr. Khadk KC & Registrar Pvt. Dr. Kedar Prasad Rijal has also resigned. 

They have resigned to support the government led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen). They have also sent their resignations to Chancellor and Prime Minister’s Private Secretary Pradeep Pariyar on WhatsApp.

Aryal KP Sharma Oli was appointed prime minister while KC and Rijal were appointed when Pushpa Kamal Da hal (Prachanda) was the prime minister.

Similarly, had already asked to pave the way for those who have received political appointments . Some of them resigned immediately after the request of the RSP , while some remained in office. However, after the government brought the ordinance and prepared to remove it, the political appointees are resigning. Meanwhile, 3 office-bearers of TU have also resigned.
