Kathmandu. Prime Minister BalendraShah has been named among the world’s 100 most influential people in the world. Baleen has been included in the list of 100 influential people of 2026 published by international magazine Time. 

Bal en is at number 14 in the list of influential leaders.

Time depicts Balen as a political leader who rose from a hip-hop artist, while sees Balen’s rise as a youth uprising. 

Time also praised Balen for his efforts to break down administrative complexities to improve the waste management, education and health sectors during his tenure as mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 

Time publishes a list of influential people every year. Pope Leo is at the top of the list of influential leaders. Mexican Prime Minister Claudi a Sheinbaum is at number two, US Secretary of State Marco Ru bio is at number three and President Donald Trump is at number four.
