Chairman Basyal and CEO Chapagain resign from their posts

Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange ( NEPSE) Chairman Hemanta Basyal has resigned from his post. He is the Minister of Finance. Swarnim Wagle met him and submitted his resignation. 

Basyal has resigned from the post before the end of his term citing special reasons. He was appointed as the chairman of NEPSE on September 19.

Along with the Chairman of NEPSE, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)(CEO) Chudamani Chapagain has also resigned from his post. He also met Finance Minister Wagle and tendered his resignation. 

The cabinet meeting held on April 2, 2081 appointed Chapagain as the CEO of NEPSE.According to a source at the Ministry of Finance, the resignations of both of them have been accepted.
