Kathmandu. CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said the party would be reconstituted from a new level. He said this while presenting the 27th Yadu Memorial Day and 24th Yadu Memorial Journalism Awards.

Accepting the party’s results in the last elections as a serious setback, he announced to restructure the party afresh.

Vice-chairman Poudel also said that there would be a serious review in the party regarding the election results of March 4. “Although the UML has made big achievements like forming a two-thirds majority government in the last 10 years, this defeat has created new challenges,” Poudel said.

According to him, the party’s policy and ideology would be updated in the coming days as guided by ‘People’s Multiparty Democracy’. Stating that the problem of despair and migration has not been resolved, he called on the cadres to work for the organization building with high morale.

Likewise, he said the party’s serious attention has been drawn towards the ordinance as the incumbent government has chosen the path of ordinance against the democratic norms and values.
