Kathmandu. The government has directed health institutions to continue their services on Sunday. The Ministry of Health and has directed the ministries to continue the services even though it is a holiday on Sunday. 

The ministry has instructed to take a holiday instead of continuing the service even though it is a holiday on Sunday. 

The Ministry has directed to resume the health services on Sunday as well after receiving widespread complaints that public holidays would affect health services for two days a week.

Even if Sunday is a public holiday, hospitals will have to operate OPD services on Sundays as well, depending on the workload and available manpower. The directive will be implemented in provincial hospitals across the country.
