Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance has decided to change the salary and allowance payment system of government employees. The salary facility that has been provided on a monthly basis till now will be distributed on a half-monthly basis (twice a month) in the coming days.

According to the letter issued by the Ministry, the Office of Financial Comptroller General has been directed to make necessary preparations for the implementation of this provision.

So far, government employees used to receive salary at the end of the month. But after the implementation of the new system, there will be an arrangement to get salary in two phases a month.
