Kathmandu. Kumari Bank Limited has celebrated its 25th anniversary by organizing various programs.
On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the bank organized blood donation programs in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and other provinces outside the valley on Thursday. It aims to contribute significantly to the need of blood banks at the local level and to save lives.
On the occasion, the bank organized the anniversary celebration by donning ‘traditional costumes’ to highlight the importance of tradition and cultural heritage. The program helps employees to identify with their cultural identity through attire that represents their ethnic background. Embracing diverse cultural traditions, the bank has promoted inclusivity and respect in its workforce. Through this initiative, the bank has continued corporate culture and community work to foster a sense of connectedness, keeping in line with the bank’s overarching vision of “For All Forever”.
Further, the bank has also initiated “Kumari Bank for Community” to carry out CSR activities throughout the country through all the branches of the bank. According to the bank, the bank will continuously strive to ease the living standard of the poor, disadvantaged and backward sections of the community through this program.
Moreover, on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee, the bank has also launched a Silver Savings Account wherein customers can get interest rate like a fixed deposit account.
The bank has been rendering state-of-the-art banking services for the past 25 years through its widest domestic network of 286 branches, 302 ATMs, 41 extension counters and 48 branchless banking units and more than 30 lakh customers.
