Kathmandu. Lawmaker Mahabir Pun has made public his property details. According to the property details made public by Pun, he owns around three tolas of gold and around 28 ropanis of land in four places in Maghthana of Pokhara Metropolitan City-7.
Pun said that he bought 28 ropanis of land in 1998 for Rs 400,000. Pun has stated that the amount of investment made in the land is the money left by him when he returned from America.
He also said that the land was sold for the operation of the National Innovation Center but it was not sold. He has said that he bought three tolas of gold in 2060 BS. However, in the source of the receipt, he mentions that his wife was given a gift by friends.
Similarly, Pun has Rs 4 lakh cash in Nepal Bank Limited. According to Pun, the amount was received from his friends for personal expenses.
On the other hand, Pun said that he has Rs 25 lakh in Rastriya Banijya Bank and that the amount was saved from the donations given by his supporters while contesting the elections. He also mentioned that the amount received from the sale of 250,000 books has been deposited in the name of National Innovation Center and National Innovation Center for the operation of Birgunj Agricultural Tools Factory in the name of Nepal Bank Limited.
