Kathmandu. The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has directed the interns to pay minimum wages including . The ministry issued this directive in a press release on Monday.
The Ministry has directed the concerned organizations to pay the minimum wage and after complaints and complaints were received that the health workers, teachers, and employees working as interns and were not paid the minimum wage ।
The Ministry has also warned of action if ‘inter n’ is not paid the minimum wage as per sub-section (3) of Section 18 of the Labour Act, 2017.
Similarly, the Ministry has also directed the training workers to be provided with facilities such as minimum wages, sick leave, gratuity, provident fund, insurance and other social security facilities.
