Oli and the writer are out of attendance!

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak have been released on bail. As per the order of the Supreme Court, the police are going to release Oli and the writer on appearance bail. 

A senior official at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said that both Oli and the writer are being released during the search.

Police arrested them on March 28. The police arrested Oli and the writer on the recommendation of the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led commission formed to investigate the repression during the Gen-G movement. 

was being investigated by extending their remand for the third time. However, the Supreme Court, while hearing the habeas corpus writ, had issued a mandamus order not to extend the custody for the fourth time and to release the investigation from custody if the investigation is not completed. According to the court’s order, Oli and the writer are going to be released on bail.
