Kathmandu. Nepal Police has requested the landlords to keep the details of the people living in the rented accommodation. The police have requested the landlord to keep the details of the occupants of the house so that the identity of the person is not committed.

Similarly, the police will also provide a police clearance report if the house owner asks for it. 

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the District Police Range, the landlords can also ask for a police report to know the background of the person who comes to live in rented accommodation if necessary.

This will prevent criminal activities and make it easier to identify the person involved in the incident, police said.
