Sun Nepal Life Insurance Organizes Agent Empowerment and Felicitation Program

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has organized a one-day special program titled ‘Opportunity for Continuous Recognition and Empowerment’ with the objective of enhancing the capacity of its agents. More than 170 insurance advisors participated in the program targeting the agents of Rapti/Bheri region and Karnali Province of Lumbini Province.

The program was inaugurated by lighting lamps and pouring water in pots by the chief guests.

The main attraction of the program was the training session of international motivational speaker Bijay Jha. He imparted effective training on sales skills, goal setting, confidence building, and strategies needed to succeed in a changing insurance market. The participants said that the training was very motivating and practical.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Kabi Phuyal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagain and other officials were present on the occasion. Karnali Province Chief Govinda Dhakal welcomed the guests while Karnali Province Deputy Chief Dhirendra Shahi, Nepalgunj Cluster Head Kamal Shahi, Rapti Bheri Regional Chief and Program Director Dipendra Rawat and various branch heads were also present.

Speaking at the program, Officiating CEO Kavi Phuyal said that agents are the backbone of the company and their empowerment is the basis of the company’s long-term success. Similarly, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagain urged agents to move ahead with continuous learning, discipline and responsible attitude towards customers.

On the occasion, the best performing agents were felicitated. Among the participants, 7 agents who were successful in doing the best business under their branches were honored as the best agents. It also created an opportunity for experience sharing and networking among the participants.

The company aims to expand the reach of insurance services across the country by enhancing the efficiency of the agents through such programs. Currently, Sun Nepal Life Insurance has 148 branches and sub-branches all over the country.
