Kathmandu. Dozers have been used in the squatters’ settlements on the banks of rivers in different parts of Kathmandu. Dozers have been used in the settlements to bring back the encroached land of the state in the name of the state.

The bulldozer has been operating in the Gairigaun Sinamangal area and Thapathali squatters’ settlement since Saturday morning.

After the dozer was run in the settlement, the part of the river bank has become empty and wide. Since the demolition of the houses was not completed on Saturday, the dozer was started on Sunday as well. See the rest of the picture:
