Kathmandu. Police have arrested two persons on the charge of swindling money on the pretext of sending them to different countries for foreign employment. The arrested have been identified as 24-year-old Deepak Kumar Jayaswal and 35-year-old Mohan Kumar Thapa.
A police team deputed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested both of them. According to the police, Jaiswal had swindled Rs 1.5 lakh on the pretext of sending him to the UK and Rs 16 lakh on the pretext of sending him to Bulgaria.
They have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment for further investigation and necessary action, police said.
