Vigilance Center deputes team to check whether office hours are being followed or not

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The National Vigilance Centre has sent a team outside the capital to find out whether the public services were being delivered as per the government’s governance reform plan. The Centre has sent teams to nine districts outside the Kathmandu Valley with the objective of maintaining the revised office hours and streamlining service delivery, said the Centre’s Spokesperson, Narayan Prasad Bhatta.

“Teams from the Centre have been mobilized outside the Kathmandu Valley from today itself to monitor and monitor the project activities and service delivery”, he said. The Centre has been actively and dynamically addressing the complaints related to the daily service delivery in recent period.

The government has fixed the office hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm effective from Monday. “We are monitoring whether or not the time has been followed, whether the employees have performed from the designated office and whether the work related to service seekers has been addressed on time in view of the government’s decision,” Bhatta said. The Centre is also tracking files to find out if there have been delays or not.

According to him, directives would be issued for immediate rectification if any corruption and wrongdoings were found and if any corruption-related activities were found, they would write to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

According to the Centre, all its resources and human resources have been mobilized as per the speed and objective of the incumbent government to promote good governance, control corruption and simplify and facilitate public service delivery.

“We have mobilized them in the valley on a daily basis. Spokesperson Bhatta said that monitoring and monitoring in various offices, ministries, departments, government and public bodies, whether the deadlines have been followed, files are stuck and if anyone has faced obstacles in service delivery, it is being written from the field for facilitation and action.
