Interested and qualified Nepali citizens can apply for the post of Chairman of the Board by May 21.
The application has to be submitted to the Financial Sector Management and Corporation Coordination Division, Singha Durbar of the Ministry of Finance, according to the recommendation committee formed for the appointment of the chairman of the board.
According to the committee, the applicant should have at least a master’s degree from a recognized university and should have at least7 years of experience in stock market management, capital market development, economic, financial, commerce, management or law.
Applicants must include personal details, Nepali citizenship certificate, educational qualification certificate and professional experience .Likewise, the committee recommends that the applicant should not have been convicted of corruption, money laundering, human trafficking, drug trafficking, antiquities or wildlife related offences or any other criminal offense involving moral turpitude.
Similarly, a person who has not completed 3 years of being released from the blacklist, has obtained a permanent residence permit in a foreign country, has been working in a public body contract and is not mentally sound will be disqualified from the post of chairperson.The Committee has made public the application Notice of Invitation
