15-day ultimatum to ‘Galaxy 4K’ to vacate house, warns of auction if it doesn’t

Kathmandu. Gorkha Media Network Pvt Ltd has been given 15 days to vacate its house. Issuing a notice, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has asked Gorkha Media to vacate the house where the Galaxy 4K television is being installed within 15 days. 

If the house is not vacated within the stipulated time, the goods will be auctioned as per Section 70 of the ‘Metropolitan Municipality Dispute Settlement (Procedure) Act, 2075′, according to the notice of the metropolis.

On the basis of the same petition, the Judicial Committee of the Metropolitan City on November 30, 2081 decided to vacate the land by filling it up from the respondent as per Section 47 of the Local Government Operation Act, 2071 and the High Court Patan on August 12, 2082 issued a mandamus order in the name of the metropolis to implement the decision within two months. 

The notice states that the company has been given 15 days to vacate the house as Mishra had filed an application on May 21, 2008 to auction the goods in the ‘Galaxy 4K’ as the decision has been completed six months since the decision was made. 

However, the metropolis has warned that if the house and land are not vacated within the given time, they will be acquired.
