7-day ultimatum to petrol pumps to improve service and infrastructure, provision of compulsory toilets, promotion of greenery

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC)has given a 7-day ultimatum to petrol pumps to improve their service and infrastructure. Issuing a circular, the regulation has given a 7-day ultimatum to the provincial offices and depots in seven provinces to improve the services and infrastructure of the province. 

After receiving complaints of excessive garbage and weak safety standards at petrol pumps, the corporation has directed petrol pumps to clean and improve the necessary infrastructure. 

With this, petrol petrol pumps will have to maintain fire safety equipment and maintain proper toilets and clean drinking water and regular cleaning will have to be done regularly.

Similarly, the corporation has also directed to keep the canopies at petrol pumps in good condition , to paint the entire structure , to clean up and to promote greenery in the pump premises.

The corporation has also directed to keep the price list clearly visible in the circular issued by the corporation and to implement the directives given by the corporation within 7 days.
