Kathmandu. Applications have been invited for the appointment of vacant vice-chancellors in 8 universities. Issuing a public notice, the Vice-Chancellor Selection and Recommendation Committee invited applications.

The committee has invited applications for the post of vice-chancellor for Tribhuvan University, Purbanchal University, Pokhara University, Lumbini Buddhist University, Agriculture and Forestry University, Mid-Western University, Sudurpaschim University and Rajarshi Janak University.

According to the notice, interested and eligible Nepalesecitizens can submit their applications within the next 10 days by visiting the link placed on the website of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. 

After the government relieved the officials of the university from the post of through an ordinance , applications have been invited for new appointments. The unified working procedure for the post of vice-chancellor has also been approved on May 24. The procedure has been posted on the website of the Ministry of Education.
