Kathmandu. Seven community schools in Sindhupalchowk district have scored zero results in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Buddhadaya Secondary School and Dharmodaya Secondary School of Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality, Bandevi Secondary School of Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Bansanghu Secondary School of Balefi Rural Municipality, Marming Secondary School and Bhimsen Secondary School of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality and Helambu Bodhisattva Model School of Helambu have been degraded under general category.

Among them, Buddhadaya Secondary School of Lisankhu, Bhimsen Secondary School of Bhotekoshi and Helambu Bodhisattva Model School of Helambu also offer technical classes. Only a few students were ‘graded’ towards the technical stream.

A total of 143 schools including 129 community, 11 institutional and three open schools of Sindhupalchowk had participated in the SEE 2082.
