Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for today.
According to the committee, tomato (Indian) has been sold at Rs 85 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 65 per kg, tomato small (Indian) at Rs 70 per kg, tomato small (Terai) at Rs 52 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 78, potato red (lamcho) at Rs 30 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 25 per kg and onion dried (Indian) at Rs 38 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been sold at Rs 60 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 35 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 45 per kg, red radish at Rs 77 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 20 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 45 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 60 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stems) Rs 60 per kg, maize beans Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 70 per kg, ghee beans (kidney beans) Rs 90 per kg, soybean beans Rs 130 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 70 per kg, gourd Rs 50 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Parwar (Terai) Rs 55 per kg, Chichindo Rs 45 per kg. Likewise, the price of cucumber has been increased at Rs 50 per kg, cucumber at Rs 75 per kg, ripe farsi at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (lamcho) at Rs 40 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 70 per kg, okra at Rs 50 per kg, pindalu at Rs 50 per kg and squash at Rs 50 per kg.
Likewise, mustard at Rs 80 per kg, spindle at Rs 120 per kg, mustard at Rs 40 per kg, Chamsur greens at Rs 120 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 100 per kg, green onion at Rs 150 per kg, mushroom at Rs 160 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 380 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber is sold at Rs 320 per kg, broccoli at Rs 110 per kg, beetroot at Rs 60 per kg, niguro at Rs 80 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 50 per kg, Sajeevan at Rs 120 per kg, cumin greens at Rs 110 per kg, parsley at Rs 300 per kg, celery at Rs 130 per kg, fennel greens at Rs 100 per kg, mint at Rs 100 per kg, ganteradish at Rs 60 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 150 per kg. The price of tofu has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.
Apple (bag) Rs 230 per kg, apple (Fuji) Rs 280 per kg, lemon Rs 280 per kg, banana (Malbhog) Rs 220 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 200, pomegranate Rs 450 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 320 per kg, grapes (black) Rs 450 per kg, watermelon green Rs 38 per kg, pineapple Rs 250 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 35 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 35 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 55 per kg. Likewise, jackfruit tree has been set at Rs 70 per kg, Chinese pear at Rs 250 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 80 per kg, dry fruits (Indian) at Rs 100 per kg, litchi at Rs 230 per kg and avocado at Rs 800 per kg.
Similarly, ginger costs Rs 180 per kg, dried chillies Rs 430 per kg, chillies green (lamcho) Rs 100 per kg, chillies green (bullet) Rs 100 per kg, fish chillies Rs 70 per kg, sheep chillies Rs 70 per kg, green garlic Rs 190 per kg, green coriander Rs 100 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 200 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 120 per kg, dried garlic (Nepali) Rs 140 per kg. Fish (rahu) has been fixed at Rs 330 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 310 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 260 per kg.
