CEO Pandey arrested for fleeing after switching off mobile

Kathmandu. A day after Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NEMB) issued a false statement stating that its CEO Jyoti Prakash Pandey had not left the bank and was active in his office work, the CIB arrested Pandey while he was fleeing after switching off his mobile. The CIB issued a press release confirming that Pandey wasarrested while fleeing after switching off his mobile phone.

A press release issued by the CIB reads, “The police team deployed from the District Police Office, Sindhuli, with the help of a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Sindhuli, was on the night of Madan Bhandari at Kamalamai Municipality Ward No. 6 Buspark, Sindhuli on the night of on the night of 2083/1/29 while fleeing.”20:00 and an investigation is underway

Pandey has been accused of selling the state property unauthorized. Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
