Kathmandu. The Federal Parliament Secretariat is preparing to implement the electronic attendance system in the parliament meetings. The Secretariat has urged all the lawmakers to be present at the designated date, time and place, saying the biometric details of the lawmakers would be collected for the same.
Issuing a notice on Thursday, the Secretariat said that the biometric details of the members of the federal parliament will be taken along with the official photographs. Lawmakers have been requested to be present in formal attire with the logo of the parliament as there is also a program to take pictures.
According to the notice, the members of the International Relations and Tourism Committee and the members of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee have been asked to be present in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) hall from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Thursday.At the same time, the members of the Finance Committee and the Legislative Management Committee have been requested to be present in the meeting room of the Finance Committee.
Similarly, the members of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee have been asked to be present in the meeting room from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday.Members of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee have been requested to be present in the meeting room of the Finance Committee. Members of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee and members of the Federalism Empowerment and National Concerns Committee have been asked to be present in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) hall from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday. Members of the Infrastructure Development Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee have been requested to be present in the meeting room of the Finance Committee.
Members of the Women and Social Affairs Committee have been asked to be present in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) from 2:0 0 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, while the members of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee have been asked to be present in the Finance Committee.
Similarly, the Secretariat has also requested the members of the Public Accounts Committee and the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee to be present in separate halls on May 12.
