Kathmandu. Minister for Information and Communications, Dr. Bikram Timilsina has said that the government is monitoring the ride sharing app that is running without registration. Minister Timilsina said this while speaking at a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee. 

He said that Ride is being monitored by the government for the purpose of managing the and apps.

Minister Timilsina said that a study is also underway to operate all types of vehicles in a systematic manner through the app.He also said that the development of startups companies is necessary to accelerate Nepal’s digital transformation . 

According to him,the government’s priority is to expand the digital economy and and and and are among the government’s priorities. Likewise, Minister Timilsina said that the study of projects run by the Ministry is also being carried out continuously.
