Govt ready to root out corruption within a year: PM Oli

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Prime Minister BalendraShah has said the government was committed to eliminating corruption from the country within a year. Responding to the questions of lawmakers in the House of Representatives, PM Shah said

He said that the government and the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) would work to eradicate corruption in the country within a year. 

Prime Minister Shah said the government has taken this year as the year of good governance.The Prime Minister also said that various ministries have been working under the supervision of the bodies. 

‘The government and the Rastriya Swatantra Party are very ready to take the country towards good governance , to remove the anomalies and to eradicate this corruption that has taken strong roots. “You must have seen it when you go to government offices including the Land Revenue,” he said. It will be continued by the Government of Nepal. ’

Similarly, Prime Minister Shah said that corruption has taken root in the country for years and the government is working to change it.
