Kathmandu. The government has invited applications for the post of chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority. The recommendation committee has issued a notice asking for applications for the post of chairman of the NRA.
The applicant should be of high moral character, not disqualified as per the Insurance Act, 2079 and should not have completed 30 years of age and not exceeded 65 years as stipulated by the criteria for appointment and nomination of office-bearers and members of public bodies related to the Ministry of Finance, 2073.
Insurance, Monetary, Finance,Economics or Law, Economics, Economics or Law should have at least five years of top managerial experience in the relevant field.
A person who has not been convicted of corruption, money laundering, human trafficking, drug trafficking, crime related to archaeological objects or protected wildlife or any other criminal offense involving moral turpitude, who has been blacklisted in accordance with the prevailing law, has completed three years of the period of release from such list, has not obtained a permanent residence permit in any foreign country, is not working under any contract agreement with a public agency and is mentally sound will be automatically disqualified ।
Interested and eligible candidates can apply to the committee secretariat at the Financial Sector Management and Corporation Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance by June 19.
