Kathmandu. Lawmaker Jagadish Kharel of Rastriya Swatantra Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party) (Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has demanded that the film industry be recognized as an industry. Lawmaker Kharel said this while participating in the discussion on the bill in the House of Representatives.

‘The film industry should now be recognized as an industry. “I was saying that I would make a film, so that I could move forward even if I took a loan. ’

Similarly, he has stressed that should be brought in the chairman of the Film Development Fund through open competition. Lawmaker Kharel said that the term of the chairman of the fund has been increased from 2 years to 4 years and the House of Representatives should also establish this term. 

Stating that the provision of ‘pre-cen sor’ is a headache, Kharel has demanded that the Censor Board should be made a ‘Film Certification Committee’ by removing this provision.
