Kathmandu. Nepali movie ‘Lali Bazaar’ starring Swastima Khadka in the lead role has earned Rs 5.25 crore in two weeks. According to the production company, Hexagon Arts, the movie was released in cinemas all over Nepal on May 25.
According to the company’s chief Max Dipesh Khatri, the film has earned in the domestic market in 14 days. Khatri, who is also the producer of the movie, is hopeful that the number of shows received in the third week will earn well in the coming days as well.
“There are no words to thank for the love we have received from our home crowd. The audience who came to watch the film by trusting us is satisfied that they are back, that is our big success. This time we showed the impact of the light of education on society and individuals along with entertainment as a social responsibility. ‘
“The audience has clearly understood the message we are trying to show through the movie, and to get feedback from the audience who have already watched the movie, we went to the cinema halls in major cities of Nepal and the audience everywhere gave the same good response.” The way the film has been accepted across the country is our success,” Khadka said.
According to him, the audiences have praised the subject matter, the directorial aspect and the lively acting of the actors all over Nepal. The movie also features Rabindra Singh Baniya, Samaira Thapa, Mukunda Kumar Shrestha, Abhay Baral, Bishal Devkota and Prasansha Subedi.
