Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the wholesale price of agricultural products for Sunday.
According to the committee, tomato (Indian) has been fixed at Rs 100 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 65 per kg, tomato small (Indian) at Rs 55 per kg, tomato small (Terai) at Rs 55 per kg, potato red at Rs 27 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 24 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 40 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been reduced to Rs 50 per kg, carrot (Terai) at Rs 30 per kg, Banda (local) at Rs 35 per kg, Banda (Terai) at Rs 30 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 50 per kg, cauliflower jyapu at Rs 50 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 40 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 50 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stems) Rs 90 per kg, maize beans Rs 80 per kg, maize beans Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 40 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 180 per kg, tattessimi Rs 120 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 35 per kg, gourd Rs 35 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 80 per kg. Likewise, parwar (Tarai) has been sold at Rs 70 per kg, chichindo at Rs 30 per kg, ghiraula at Rs 50 per kg, ripe farsi at Rs 55 per kg, green farsi (lambho) at Rs 20 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 25 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 70 per kg, okra at Rs 80 per kg, pindalu at Rs 50 per kg and squash at Rs 60 per kg.
The price of mustard at Rs 70 per kg, spinach at Rs 80 per kg, Chamsur at Rs 80 per kg, mustard at Rs 30 per kg, fenugreek at Rs 80 per kg, green onion at Rs 160 per kg, yam at Rs 90 per kg, mushroom at Rs 250 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber costs Rs 500 per kg, niguro Rs 100 per kg, broccoli Rs 70 per kg, beetroot Rs 70 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 120 per kg, koirala Rs 300 per kg, red cabbage Rs 50 per kg, cumin greens Rs 80 per kg, parsley Rs 300 per kg, celery Rs 160 per kg, fennel greens Rs 80 per kg, mint Rs 120 per kg, gantemolli Rs 50 per kg, tamarind Rs 180 per kg. The price of copper has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg, topu at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.
Apple (bag) Rs 250 per kg, apple (fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana Rs 220 per kg, lemon Rs 380 per kg, pomegranate Rs 480 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 240 per kg, grapes (black) Rs 380 per kg, watermelon green Rs 45 per kg, pineapple Rs 250 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 50 per kg. Similarly, pear (Chinese) has been fixed at Rs 250 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 80 per kg, Indian papaya at Rs 90 per kg, kiwi at Rs 500 per kg and avocado at Rs 800 per kg.
Similarly, ginger costs Rs 100 per kg, dried chillies Rs 450 per kg, chillies green (chillie) Rs 110 per kg, chillies (bullet) Rs 80 per kg, fish chillies Rs 60 per kg, chillies Rs 60 per kg, chillies Rs 90 per kg, green garlic Rs 160 per kg, green coriander Rs 120 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 200 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 120 per kg. Fresh fish has been fixed at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 310 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg.
