Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index surged 6.94 points to close at 2,718.16 points on Thursday.

Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall on Thursday. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 6.94 points to close at 2718.16 points.

A total of 6,684,07 units of shares of 334 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 2.93 billion were traded. NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited has been the most traded company today. The company has a turnover of Rs 17.68 crore.

In today’s market, the investors of Swalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited have made the highest profit. The company’s share price has increased by more than 12 percent.

On the other hand, the investors of Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited suffered the most. The company’s share price has fallen by more than 13 percent.
