Kathmandu. Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) – The delivery of passports has been started in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) through postal service. The District Post Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) has started the passport delivery service at the doorstep of the service seekers.

The provision of delivering the passport to the doorsteps of the people through the post office is as per the agreement reached between the District Post Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) and the District Administration Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

The passport received from the District Administration Office was handed over to Amit Pariyar of Pipreni in Kawasoti-16, Pipreni, who was receiving the passport from the District Administration Office, said postal officer Sapkota. The service was started by handing over the passport to Pariyar’s mother Bimala Pariyar.

Postal Officer Sapkota said the service has been started in a way to reach the doorsteps of the citizens by ending the situation where one has to travel to the district headquarters to collect passport. It is believed that providing the service by delivering the passport issued by the District Administration Office to the doorstep of the concerned person will facilitate the citizens.

“The government has planned to provide some services to the citizens at their doorstep and accordingly we have started the service of delivering passports at the doorstep. “We believe that this will add convenience to the service seekers,” said Postal Officer Sapkota. ’

Bimala Pariyar said that she was happy to receive the passport of her family member at home. “I had to go to the District Administration Office to get the passport by managing time, getting it at home also saved time, the transportation cost of reaching there was also saved and there was a lot of convenience. “, he said.

Postal Officer Sapkota said that this facility would be extended to Nawalpur as well as in hilly area. “We deliver the passports to our homes through our offices and employees of the respective municipalities. “, he said. This service is believed to facilitate the citizens and further strengthen public trust and credibility in the postal service.
