Kathmandu. Chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, Harka RajRai, has boycotted the meeting of the parliament . Sampang boycotted the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday.
He boycotted the House of Representatives demanding that Prime Minister Balendra Shah bemade accountable by making him accountable.
He urged the Speaker to ensure the presence of the Prime Minister as per the sub-rule (2) of Rule 15 of the Parliament Regulations. Although they have been demanding the presence of the Prime Minister for a long time, they have expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of effective ruling from the Speaker.
He has also challenged the Prime Minister to be expelled from the House by invoking sub-rule (1) of Rule 31 of the Regulations or else the Prime Minister should be present in the House or else he should be present in the House {{}(1){{} of Rule 31 of the Regulations.
“If you cannot bring the Prime Minister accountable to the House, I request you to expel me from this House by invoking Rule 31 (1) and increase the dignity of the House . “Either the Prime Minister should be called here or he should have asked me to leave,” he said. ’
