Kathmandu. The administration has sealed off the Spring Mineral Industry at Motigada of Triyuga Municipality-3 in Udayapur district.

A team from the Food and Quality Control Division Office, Udayapur, Gaighat and the District Administration Office carried out monitoring on Tuesday.

According to Nirajan Magar, chief of the Food and Quality Control Division Office, the industry was immediately sealed off after a monitoring team found that the industry was producing water contrary to the standard.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Udayapur, Bikram Pandey, said that the industry was sealed off as it flouted the norms despite repeated warnings. Similarly, the administration has banned the sale of mineral water produced by the mineral industry and expanded in the market area.
