Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Sunday.
As per the committee, the price of tomato (big (Indian) is Rs 40 per kg, tomato (India) Rs 30 per kg, potato red (lambcho) Rs 34 per kg, potato red (round) Rs 28 per kg and onion (Indian) Rs 38 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been increased at Rs 60 per kg, Banda (local) at Rs 40 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 40 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 50 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 45 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stem) Rs 40 per kg, maize beans Rs 70 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 60 per kg, soybean beans Rs 130 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 50 per kg, gourd Rs 35 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 50 per kg, parwar (Terai) Rs 45 per kg, Chichindo Rs 35 per kg, Ghiraula Rs 35 per kg, Farsi ripe Rs 60 per kg. The price of green farsi (lambcho) has been fixed at Rs 40 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 30 per kg, okra at Rs 40 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 70 per kg and pindalu at Rs 50 per kg.
The government has also fixed the prices of mustard at Rs 10 per kg, spinach at Rs 120 per kg, mustard at Rs 40 per kg, Chamsur greens at Rs 120 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 120 per kg, green onion at Rs 120 per kg, mushroom at Rs 240 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 430 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber Rs 350 per kg, Neuro Rs 80 per kg, Broccoli Rs 60 per kg, Beetroot Rs 60 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 120 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 40 per kg, Jieri Leaf Rs 100 per kg, Celery Rs 140 per kg, Parsley Rs 300 per kg, Fennel Greens Rs 120 per kg, Mint Rs 110 per kg, Guantroot Rs 60 per kg, Tamarind Rs 180 per kg and Copper Rs 150 per kg. The price of tofu has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.
Apple (Fuji) Rs 325 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 200, banana (Malbhog) Rs 220, lemon Rs 260 per kg, pomegranate Rs 440 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 280 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 280 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 35 per kg, pineapple Rs 230 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 55 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 30 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 45 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 45 per kg, tree jackfruit Rs 70 per kg. Similarly, papaya (Nepali) has been set at Rs 90 per kg, Indian papaya (Indian) Rs 100 per kg, lychee (Bharati) Rs 280 per kg, avocado Rs 800 per kg, coconut (raw) Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) Rs 180 per kg.
Similarly, ginger Rs 160 per kg, dried chillies Rs 430 per kg, chillies green (lamcho) Rs 90 per kg, chillies green (bullet) Rs 80 per kg, fish chillies Rs 60 per kg, sheep chillies Rs 60 per kg, green garlic Rs 200 per kg, green coriander Rs 80 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 190 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 120 per kg and chilli dried at Rs 140 per kg. Fish (rahu) has been fixed at Rs 330 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 310 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 260 per kg.
